The VholdR ContourHD is the world's first self contained helmet camera to record in high definition. There are two recording modes, either high quality 1280 x 720 widescreen video at 30 frames per second or standard definition 848 x 480 widescreen video at 60 frames per second. The ContourHD features a 135 degree wide angle lens.
The ContourHD camera only weighs just 116 grams and has a water resistant brushed aluminium body. Videos are recorded onto Micro SD cards. The pack includes a 2GB card, however, you can use up to a 16GB, which holds approximately 8 hours of HD video (or 16 hours of standard definition).
It's lithium-ion battery will run for approximately 90 minutes in HD mode (2 hours in standard definition mode).
The ContourHD also features dual aiming lasers to help get the perfect angle and make sure that the camera is level. The front lens rotates through 192 degrees, which makes it possible to mount the camera on any surface and then rotate the lens to ensure a level shot every time.
